I don’t know whether she is important or not but maybe her role can be important and there are also rumors that Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan will be in it. Due to this, the budget of this film made in India will be 600 crores, which will be one of the heavy budget expensive movies made in India. Nag Ashwin said “Our film starts in Mahabharata and it ends in 2898. That’s the title of the film, it’s called Kalki 2898 AD. It spans 6,000 years of distance and time. So trying to create worlds that are there here, imagining what it could be like, still keeping it Indian and not make it look like a Blade Runner.”Kalki also called Kalkin, is the prophesied tenth and final incarnation of the god Vishnu. He is described to appear in order to end the Kali Yuga. In this movie, Prabhas’ character will be named Bhairav who will be the incarnation of Kalki. Deepika will play the role of Kalki’s wife Padma, in this Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the role of Ashwatthama and Kamal Haasan will be seen in the role of Kali. Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, Alia Bhatt, and Shraddha Kapoor were even offered the role of the female protagonist but declined.It was confirmed that Janhvi Kapoor would play the lead role in her debut South Indian film.

Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Patani are among the rest of the cast members in the movie’s key parts. Under DVV Entertainment, D. V. V. Danayya provided funding for the movie, which had an estimated ₹250 crore production budget.
It was reported that Kalyan’s salary was ₹100 crore. Although the makers haven’t revealed any details about the film except for the leading cast. OG is scheduled to release on 27 September 2024 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Hindi and Tamil.
